Comparing Accuracy and Control for Graphics Software using a Digitizer and a Mouse

Abstract. This research aims to analyze the differences in accuracy and control between using a digitizer or a mouse for graphical software. The results indicate that the digitizer enables superior performance in tasks involving images with many curved lines. Our findings are expected to lead to practical usage suggestions for pen-computing devices in visual graphics software.
